Halloween 2012

I LOVE Halloween. Like, really. I do. πŸ™‚ Mostly because Fall is my favorite season – I love the leaves, the atmosphere, the cooler weather, and I LOVE dressing my kids up for Halloween JUST so I can take their pictures. Ridiculous huh?

First off – tradition states that we start out with an awesome breakfast. I decorate the kitchen while the kids are sleeping so they wake up to it. We also do it for birthdays and Valentine’s and we all love it.

We had a mix of school parades & pre-school programs during the day, but the GOOD stuff happens at night. Everybody knows that. πŸ™‚

Cara was our BumbleBee:

Rachel was a vampire – although we forgot her dripping fake blood and teeth for some reason. lol. Oh well.

Andrew always gets the coolest face paint. 2 years ago he was spiderman – and if I do say so – his face paint was awesome back then too. Also – he really wanted to be a Glow In the Dark skeleton, so we got some fabric paint that glows and outlined his skeleton. It turned out pretty sweet.

Trick-or-treating with the neighborhood kids:

My brother is going to college at UVU and he and his girlfriend asked if they could come trick-or-treating with my kids. Heck yes! They had so much fun! Erik & Ashley’s costumes were awesome as well.

Cara loves her uncle Erik!

Sam & I also dressed up this year for our neighborhood (LDS ward) party. He was Tony Stark (complete with glowing Arc Reactor), and I dressed up as Pepper Potts. Unfortunately, there is no photographic proof. πŸ™

I love the “flying bee” pictures! So fun. So sad that you and Same don’t have a picture of your costume. I bet it was awesome.
