Charles & Misty First Look & Formal Session

We were able to pick the absolute BEST day for these formals. Right in between 2 weeks of freezing weather we had some glorious sunshine! We started off with their First Look (these are seriously my favorite!) on the grounds next to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City, UT.

Then off to take some photos around the temple grounds! Formal sessions are fantastic- we get WAY better lighting because we get to choose the time of day (not centered around a ceremony or sealing time), there are less people around, and the wedding day is less stressful!

Doesn’t she look AMAZING?!

We raced up above the Salt Lake Capitol Building to capture some city lights before the sun was completely gone. I LOVE the way these turned out.

That’s it for now! Stay tuned for their amazing wedding day!

Brandon & Emily: Denver, Colorado Wedding

I LOVED being with these two in Denver, CO for their wedding at the LDS Temple. Although it was the middle of winter, as long as we stood in the sun, it wasn’t too cold. Right guys? I loved that Emily brought a red fleece blanket to wrap up  - it accented her colors and just made everything look fabulous. Plus her boots are to DIE for. Loved it all!:)Congrats you two!

Larry & Sarah Formals: Salt Lake City Wedding Photographer

Larry & Sarah were married on a beautiful late summer’s afternoon in August. Because things can be so frantic on the wedding day, these two took the opportunity to return at a later date and get some extra photos of them on the Salt Lake City Temple Grounds. I was so amazed at how calm & collected, and not stressed they both were! It was actually quite relaxing.:)Thanks so much for trusting me with your photography!

Brett & Emma – Utah Thanksgiving Point Bridals

How I adore this couple!! I was privileged to photograph their engagements & formals, but sadly am missing the wedding! I know they are in good hands though, so that helps.:)We spent a glorious summer evening wandering around the Thanksgiving Point Gardens for their formal session. My favorite part? When Emma surprised Brett with the super awesome vintage automobile! He’s very into cars, and the expression on his face was priceless. I can tell they are going to be a dynamite married couple!

Congratulations you two! I hope your wedding day was everything you dreamed it would be!

Platz Family Sealing

What a gorgeous day for such a great occasion!! This beautiful family went to the Salt Lake Temple and was sealed as a family a few weeks ago. I was seriously bursting with joy for them. For those of you not familiar with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – when a couple is initially married outside the temple, they can have the opportunity later to return (either as a couple or with their children if they have had them) and be sealed. It is then just like they were married there in the first place. Such a great accomplishment!

Brett & Emma – Utah Engagement Photographer

We waited FOREVER for the blossoms to be just right, and between the awesome blossoms & the gorgeous weather we had an amazing time! I was so impressed with these two – I loved watching them interact with each other and it was great to get to know them! I’m only going to show you ones I’m pretty sure they are not using for their announcement. No sense in spoiling the surprise….:)

Dallin & Kayla – Salt Lake City LDS Wedding

Dallin & Kayla were married on a rather chilly winter evening, but it was definitely magical. They have such amazingly supportive friends & family and it was so fun to get to know them!! Their ceremony ran a little late, so we raced to get family photos done, and had about 10 minutes to get some quick bride & groom photos before heading over to the gorgeous McCune Mansion for their reception. Congratulations you two!
