Jamie is one of the most amazing moms I know. She knows and can handle chaos better than anyone and absolutely adores her children. Pregnant with #4, she really wanted pictures of her 3 kids before their family changed one last (it is the last, right?) time. 🙂 I knew how involved she is with […]

I LOVE these! You described Jamie perfectly. I don’t think anyone will say that I can handle chaos well. I do adore my kids, but I don’t handle chaos well.

Love them – as usual! Can I get the dropbox so I can post some on my blog! You picked most of my fav’s also

It was POURING rain the afternoon of this shoot. Kara & I were on the phone “Should we cancel? Should we try anyway?” probably every 5 minutes. I’m so glad we didn’t cancel. I got to the Utah State Fair and there was a light drizzle, and after a few minutes it stopped raining and […]

Scott- Thanks for the comment! My process is pretty simple. Get a good exposure, color balance, curves in LR, and then open in photoshop. Levels layer for more contrast, sharpen (using an action i found years ago). The coloring is a combination of Totally Rad’s free Troy, a Honey colored action (can’t remember where I got that) and then I run TR Boutwell’s Magic Glasses over the top of it. Mess with the opacity a little of each layer depending on the photo. Hope that helps!

Love the photos. I would love to know your post processing techniques, the colors are great.

I was just scanning through my RSS reader looking at a few things before heading to bed when guess what caught my eye! I recognized the couple immediately.

So fun! Thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful occasion, it was a pleasure working with you! 🙂

These two don’t get alone time very often (well, more so NOW that Rachel is in Kindergarten) so when they were being oh-so-adorable this morning I ran in to grab my camera. I LOVE that Cara is becoming more interactive with her siblings. It makes life so much FUN!
