I love textures. I don’t use them as frequently as I used to, but when the right photo comes along a nicely applied texture can make or break it. One of my favorite vendors is Nichole Van’s Flourish Emporium. I have both the urban & heirloom sets and LOVE them. I generally apply the texture as an overlay and decrease the opacity down to 50% or so. Plus, I mask back in faces so they don’t look all splotchy. 🙂 Nichole’s textures are super easy to use, and can make a huge difference in your editing! Here’s a couple of examples:
