Hey all!! I had one more picture from Jen + Micah’s wedding I wanted to post, so I thought I’d do a before/after, just for fun. Original SOOC (with a little sharpening): Looks good, right? Nice composition, the couple looks happy, I like how their arms are positioned, her dress looks good. Then I give […]

Beautiful picture and Lightroom is soo amazing!

  • Jess - August 27, 2010 - 11:22 pm

Suzanne- hahah! Nope! Its good to be the odd one out. I’m glad you like it as is. 🙂

  • Suzanne - August 27, 2010 - 4:39 pm

Actually I like it a million times better without actions and effects. I think I am the odd man out!

  • Jess - August 27, 2010 - 12:08 am

The art edits I do in PS. The actions that I love are all for PS, but LR is really nice & fast for basic color correction, exposure, etc. It makes editing really quick!

What do I think? I think you are just amazingly talented! The picture was already great SOOC, but the next two stages were WOW!

WOW! That’s pretty cool. I especially like how you take out the building and people

  • crave photography - August 26, 2010 - 9:48 am

Awesome! You do all that in LR? I have LR3 but have never used it. I do everything in PS! LOVE the result!! I should try to learn my LR!

So. Much. Fun. These guys seriously know how to party. Jen & Micah, you are beautiful, I wish you guys the best!

Cassidy- Hey!! How are you?! I wish I had a tilt shift, its a Gaussian blur with a mask done in post-process. Do you like it? I’ve been playing around the last little while trying to decide if I should keep it. Thanks for commenting!

Your images are gorgeous! What kind of lens are you using for, say, the first image? Is it a tilt shift or is the blur photoshopped?

What a beautiful summer wedding!! This lovely couple tied the knot at Heritage Gardens a few weeks ago. I had a great time working with them, and I wish them the best on the start of their life together! Oh- and check out the first picture. *sigh* I love me a happy accident. Enjoy!

What a beautiful wedding! Great job! These look great! : )

We took our kids camping with my family over the 24th of July. So fun. Except for the fact that we didn’t bring enough sleepers for the Smunch. She was cold and would keep waking up unless I put her in my sleeping bag. And then I wasn’t in it, and I was cold. Lovely.

Heritage Gardens – that is my reception center! I don’t know if you remember but I used to “do” weddings – and this is where I started. This is also where I had my reception – you made it look a whole lot better in your photo’s than my photographer did.

So adorable!!! You sure know how to make cute kids!!! 🙂

  • Mike Grace - August 12, 2010 - 2:21 pm
