Here’s a personal post for those that are interested. Sorry, fellow photog blog stalkers. I’ll add some pictures to keep it interesting, k? 🙂
We’ve hit 2 months!! (okay, so we hit two months on the 8th. Who’s keeping track anyway?) And.. we’re all still surviving. hahaha. Cara is actually a really good baby. Its amazing how fast a new baby becomes an integral part of our family. I can’t imagine us without her. Â A few interesting things about her development right now:
- She’s started smiling! Such a reward for long sleepless nights. I love how her whole face just lights up. Her smiles are pretty infrequent now, but I’m sure will become more common over the next few weeks.
- Speaking of sleep, I’m actually getting some! Depending on the night she’ll sleep between 5-8 hours. Usually I’ll feed her between 10-11pm, and then she’ll sleep until 5-7pm.
- I love snuggling her in bed in the morning. Just in the morning. Not all night. She’s a grunter.
- She’s chunking up! She weighed 10lbs 8 oz (75%) and 23.25″ (90%) at her 2 month check up. I love her little fat rolls.
- She loves to just lie on the floor. Not the swing. Not the bouncer. The floor. *shrug* Whatever, kid.
Have we gone anywhere interesting? Not that she’d remember. We’re taking her camping at the end of the month (which I’m sure will be exciting) as well as to California, so we’ll see how adventurous she is then!

funny – Megan perfers the floor as well – first time I had a kid like that. Nice to get so much sleep – megan does pretty well. This week really didn’t pan out for me. I will call you soon though.
