Really? No way. She can’t possibly be. I’m amazed at how fast the last 6 months have flown by. She’s still this little to me. I’ve never seen a happier baby, and it just makes me want to eat her up every. single. day.

Since we’re a little behind on doctor’s appointments, I don’t really have stats. She has chunky thighs, weighs about 14 lbs, is fairly long, and super healthy. Other new things she’s doing include:

  • grabbing my hair and trying to eat it
  • starting solid foods (avacado– yum!)
  • grabbing and eating her toes
  • putting everything in her mouth (I’m sensing a pattern)
  • rolls front to back and back to front
  • taking an interest in toys. Especially ones that squeak
  • putting herself to sleep after she gets out of her swaddle. Silly Houdini.
  • she’s on a great schedule. 2- 2 hours naps + a 45 min catnap before dinner
  • laughs. a lot. at everyone.
  • loves to look at people, hates to be in her bouncer where she can’t see anything so I finally gave up and put it away
  • sits in her Bumbo and watches me cook/clean

I’m almost ready to do our family photos for the year. hahaa. Yes,  little behind, but I have vision. I’ll share more  photos when we get them taken.

She’s so beautiful Jess! So glad she’s happy and healthy–what more can you ask for?!

This has taken me FOREVER to get the rest of these up the blog. I had such a great time with these guys, and with triplet-almost-3-year-olds I think we did pretty well. And, you can see why the kids are so cute. Mom & dad make a striking couple. 🙂

Such a cute family! Jess, your photos are AMAZING!!!

I seriously love my kids. And Halloween. As evidenced by the decorations I buy every year. Its a bit of an obsession. 🙂 I think next year we might go with a fog machine, but I digress..

We dressed up last Thursday for the ward Halloween Party, and I was able to sneak in a few photos 10 minutes before we raced out the door (yeah, we were late). I wish I had had more time, but I do love what I got.

(P.S. my amazing friend made the girls’ costumes. We traded for photos. Huge fan of the barter system. :))

Tinkerbell: Despite teething, having  a cold and being generally miserable, this little girl still manages to brighten our lives with the cutest smiles. I think I could learn a few things from her. 🙂

Spiderman: Tough guy. Not sure why he decided on this, but I love it. He even sat super still for me to paint his face. (Which didn’t come off for like 2 days, and he wouldn’t let me do it again for trick-or-treating).

Rapunzel: And my princess! Amazingly enough, she decided on her costume BEFORE we were even aware there was a movie coming out this winter. The movie just made it even more exciting.

These two could seriously not stop smiling. I loved every second of it. Both business majors at BYU, these two make the cutest couple. I photographed Garrett’s sister’s wedding last year, and its such a compliment to be referred to a family member. I can’t wait for their wedding in December!

I LOVE these photos. I really like the mountain/fall ones. You do beautiful work.

When I saw the theme for this week’s I heart faces contest, I immediately thought of this photo:

They’re not doing anything special, but they are my girls, they’re pink, and pretty, and princesses. And I hope they will never have to deal with a challenge like breast cancer. Here’s to finding a cure!

I had a blast with this session. You’d never guess, but he is one of my previous grooms. How awesome is that?! This is his full-time job, and he is great at it! Even just the short, non-full out routine he did for me to photograph was really fun. And, silly me, I mentioned to my kids that we could have him come for their birthdays next year (2 weeks apart) and just have one big party. Whoops. Now its all they talk about.

Check out his website, just don’t tell your kids unless you’re going to follow through. 🙂

I seriously love these guys. We had a great time at their bridal session, and their wedding was classy, gorgeous, and super fun! Market Street Grill was a beautiful venue, as its nestled close to the mountains of Salt Lake City which provided a stunning backdrop for their ceremony on the rooftop. Plus, I’ll be honest, the food was to die for.  Congratulations on your marriage, and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

That was such a beautiful wedding! I love all the happy faces and wonderful smiles. Amazing!

I’m so happy I had the opportunity to do this photo shoot! It was so much fun, and Emily is just stunning. Her friend won an engagement or bridal session from a fair last spring, but on the date we scheduled, I ended up having to be induced and was in the hospital with a new baby. So, no photo shoot. 🙂 Anyway, she asked if she could transfer the session to a friend, and a few weeks later I got a call from Emily! I love her style, her personality, and her gorgeous red hair.  They were married last week, so I can now post these. Congrats!!

I’m blown away by the colors, composition, well played bokeh, and the emotion. Wow! Just wow!

I think you’ll be hearing from us to do our family photos. : )
